Herbert, John Rogers - Original Drawing of Maria Malibran Autographs Actresses - Letter A Signed photo postcard of theFamous English painter (1810 1890), most notable as a precursor of pre Raphaelitism. Original pencil drawing of star French born mezzo soprano Maria Malibran (1808 1836), one of the greatest singers in her time, who died at age 28. Malibran is shown in La Sonnambula (Bellinis opera, premiered in 1831) one of her most successful roles. Drawing is 5. 3 x 7. 75 inches, and is in excellent condition. It is mounted on light cardboard, presented on a
