St. Juan Diego Charm This miniature depicts two ofSan Juan Diego, Native of Mexico, first Roman Catholic Indigenous Saint from Americas. In Dec 1531. He was chosen by Our Lady Of Guadalupe as a messenger to have a temple built in Tapeyec, Mexico. As a sign for the Bishop, Juan Diego was asked to carry roses to the Temple in his cloak. As he opened the cloak to show the roses, Our Lady of Guadalupe image appeared on the cloak.
