Victorian Multi-Gem & Enamel "Evil Eye" Brooch baguette It's modelled in 18k yellowDATE: Victorian,c. 1870 This unusual antique multi gem brooch dates from the Victorian period, circa 1870. It almost reminds me of the "evil eye" symbol, with the centre sapphire cabochon surrounded by the oval shaped halo border. The stone is flanked by two old mine cuts, 0. 54ct total, and the halo is finished in fantastic white and gold polka dot enamel. Pearls and red enamel (that almost look like gems!) alternate around the shape, and its
