A round silver medal, suspended from a single toe claw with a pierced ball and swivel ring suspension from its period original ribbon featuring a horizontal pinback, the obverse featuring a crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and circumscribed with Elizabeth II dei Gratia Regina and Canada between two maple leaves, the reverse features Elizabeths royal cypher
