Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle, overlaid by a central mobile swastika and clutching a cluster of lightning bolts, situated above a stylized depiction of the Brandenburg Gate surrounding an inscription of HNR537 (Heeres Nachrichten Regiment 537), in turn situated above an additional inscription of FR HERVORRAGENDE LEISTUNG (FOR
