Its finished in intricate black enamel work, including cross motifs and the words In Memory Of around the back of the band. The face is hinged, opening to reveal a square locket compartment with glass front. To the inner band is an inscription that simply reads: Mother. 15th Sep. 1895 Its modelled in 18 karat gold throughout, with a full set of Chester
