Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse bearing a white enameled disc overlaid by a gilded sunwheel style mobile swastika with scarcely perceptible grooves dividing the arms, set within a red enameled ring bearing a black inscription of VOLKSBUND DER DEUTSCHEN IN UNGARN (PEOPLES FEDERATION OF GERMANS IN HUNGARY), the reverse with a boutonniere style attachment
