De Bourbon, Louis-Jean-Marie - Signed Document 1738 Autographs Singers 50 or less I Photo by HistedGrandson of Louis XIV of France and his mistress Madame de Montespan, known from birth as the Duke of Penthivre (1725 1793). Document signed by the duc of Penthievre, dated Paris le 14 Fevrier 1738. The Duc, who succeeded the Count of Toulouse (d. 1737) when just 12 years old, certifies that " Franois Lon Hirt was in the house [of my father].. for fourteen years as master of his music, and that he has fulfilled its duties with applause and to the
