An owner attributed Luftwaffe Officers cap, constructed of dark grey whipcord wool. It features reinforced sidewalls, fully lined on the exterior with a black ribbed mohair cap band, trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with silver aluminum wire piping. An additional band of identical piping lines the outer edge of the crown. Stitched onto the peak of the cap is an insignia consisting of a dark grey wool
