Constructed of a silvered bronze alloy, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing a raised inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, as well as a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code 17 for the aforementioned maker, measuring 64 mm (w) x
