Constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed radiant starburst, bearing a central raised rosette situated within a circular laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 39. 98 mm (w) x 45. 00 mm (h), weighing 14. 0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine
