Pair Antique Ming Style Chinese Qing Carved Hardwood Gilt Lacquer Throne Chairs Decorative Arts Each chair having the CarlA fine pair of antique 19th Century Chinese Ming style carved, lacquered & gilt throne armchairs, Qing dynasty, circa 1860. This very attractive pair of antique carved Chinese throne chairs are made from Chinese elm, with traces of red lacquer decoration, they have carved & pierced headrests, the chair backs are carved with inter connecting organic curled sections. The seat back having carved panels with traces of gilding and decorated with Imperial
