Germany, Imperial. A Bavarian M1917 Visor Cap for Enlisted Ranks Newly Listed coded "371988" on the reverse(Bayern Feldgrau Schirmmtze M1917 fr Mannschaften). A well preserved Bavarian issue M1917 visor cap for Enlisted ranks, constructed of field grey wool. It features reinforced side walls which are fully lined on the exterior with a smooth field grey wool cap band. Pinned onto the centre of the band is a silvered brass cockade featuring an irregular red painted centrepiece. The lower edge of the band is flanked on each side by blackened magnetic metal
