Germany, Luftwaffe. An Em/Nco’s Tropical Belt Buckle United Republic of his particular buckle is illustrated(Luftwaffe Tropen Grtelschnalle fr Mannschaften). Constructed of olive drab painted magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, set within an oval laurel leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), with moderate loss of paint evident in addition to dents and distortions to the top and bottom
