Each measures 71mm in diameter (nearly 3 inches), of high relief and of excellent quality, die struck in non magnetic metal (probably aluminum), then bronzed, silvered and gilded. Medals are all uni face, and period mounted on a thick cardboard (they were period framed, but due to transportation
