A gilded bronze hexagonal shaped shield, presenting the inscription VETERANIS, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, with eight small drill holes for attachment, reverse plain, measuring 61. 65 mm (w) x 71. 70 mm (h), and in near very fine condition.
