An extremely well preserved Heer Panzer Officers overseas field cap, constructed of field grey wool. The crown of the cap is fully trimmed with silver aluminum wire piping, while the cap also features fold down side panels, similarly trimmed at the front with silver aluminum wire piping. Stitched into the peak of the cap is an insignia in the form of a forest green wool backer bearing a hand embroidered silver aluminum wire
