Architecture – Paysage Through this objectA passionate amateur photographer, Henri Gaden never parted from his camera during his forty year career as an officer and administrator in Africa. His photographs constitute a unique visual collection of daily military and colonial life, as well as local communities and ethnic groups. Camera in hand, Gaden was able to act as a witness to capture scenes of life, women and men, an atmosphere, an exchange, a certain complicity between the administrator
