Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him and dated in Marseille, September 2nd, 1878. Size is 5. 25 x 8. 2 inches, 2 written pages in 1 folded sheet, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a small cabinet style photograph of the composer by Herve Petit (Paris). Size is 2. 3 x 4 inches, mounting traces on verso, spotted rust on the front, in good condition.
