The ring is F 138 compliant implant grade stainless steel and is hand polished to a mirror finish. The beaded overlay is available in silver or solid 18k gold. Seam rings must be bent for insertion or removal so they are not recommended for piercings that need to be changed regularly, as frequent bending will distort the shape of the jewelry.
