The ladder rails and mounting brackets are 1 4 inch thick. The rungs are 18 inches wide and they are spaced 12 inches apart. Mounting brackets are 2 1 2 x 1 4 inches. Mounting hardware is not included. It is recommended that 1 2 inch stainless steel hardware be used with the brackets.
