Chile, Republic. A Star For The War Of The Pacific 1879-1880, Ii Class Silver Star, C.1885 Hold The Suffolk Regiment and York(Estrela por combate del Tarapaca). Instituted in 1880. In silver with red, white and blue enamels, measuring 40. 8 mm (w) x 42. 2 mm (h), chipping evident in the blue enamels on the obverse centrpiece ring and on the reverse centrepiece, along with the red enamels on the reverse centrepiece ring, light contact overall, replacement ribbon suspended from its hanger with pinback, fine. Footnote: The Star for the War of the Pacific was instituted on
