Instituted January 1st, 1819. Constructed of 18kt Gold, consisting of a red enameled cross with a laurel and oak wreath as well as crossed swords in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, the obverse center medallion presents a figure in Gold spearing a dragon on horseback on a white enamel field, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed Vinces in Hoc Signo, the reverse medallion presents
