Crinum amoenum Chamaerops a nice change for aCrinum amoenum, a cousin of our native Crinum americanum, hails from India, where it is also a river dwelling species. For us, Crinum amoenum adapts beautifully to normal garden conditions, forming a clump instead of a running specimen as with Crinum americanum. In early July, the clumps are topped with multiple scapes of huge, strap petaled, fragrant white flowers, highlighted by wine purple stamens truly outstanding! Crinum amoenum has proven to be
