ON THE RUN SCULPTURE dolphins Since completing his tour ofDoug Hudson, formerly of Ketchikan, now resides in Bellingham, Washington. He worked for many years as a school teacher in Ketchikan before retiring and turning to his art full time. A classic watercolor painter, Doug fell in love with wood carving after taking classes from native masters in Southeast Alaska. He then developed a unique way to sculpt using the techniques of knifework that he had learned. Doug's unique style is completely self taught
