Cathedral ‘St Magnus I’ Dress Brooch in Sterling Silver charitable-daisy another of Orkney’s ancient marvelsThis Cathedral brooch is one of three circular designs Sheila based on sandstone carvings in Orkneys St Magnus Cathedral. This intricate design features a number of carvings reminiscent of fleur de lis. The inner cross is held within a square, which in turn is held within the circular design. The surface of the sterling silver brooch is polished, with the edges of the design highlighted in oxidised silver. The design measures approximately 48mm wide.
