Rohdea japonica Miyako No Jo Living Wall From midsummer until early fallLike an evergreen tropical looking hosta, Rohdea japonica 'Miyako no Jo' is composed of glossy, dark green, smooth leaves that stand upward forming a vase shaped 20" tall clump. Each leaf is surrounded by a striking border of white from the leaf tip down to the mid way point. Adding to the beauty are the short stalks of bright red berries that occur near the base of the plant in late fall and through the winter. Rohdea japonica 'Miyako no Jo' is a
