A Board Cap for Enlisted Ranks, with Owner-Modified Chinstrap consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Ontario and joined the CEF(Kriegsmarine Schiffchen fr Mannschaften). An interesting well preserved Kriegsmarine dark blue board cap for Enlisted ranks, constructed of dark navy blue wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which subtly slope toward the front. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a dark blue wool backer bearing a machine embroidered golden yellow Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 60 mm (w) x 25 mm
