Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Frster & Barth,
