Germany, SS. A Rare and Mint Waffen-SS Tropical Cap Totenkopf Insignia, Green Variant Auction with minor contact marks on(Waffen SS Tropen Schiffchentotenkopf fr Mannschaften). Constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered green SS style Totenkopf with details highlighted in black threading, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), a rare example of a green tropical insignia as found on page 135 of Insignia and Artifacts of the Waffen SS by Michael D. Beaver, 2012, in unissued and mint condition.
