Prunus 'Newport' ~ Newport Plum Size:15 GALLON MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low MaintenanceNewport Plum is a stunning deciduous flowering tree with a spreading rounded crown known for its spring display and deep purple foliage. The soft white to pale pink flowers bloom shortly before the foliage emerges. The new growth begins as a light bronze and matures to deep purple by summer, and earn red tones by fall. After the flowers, the tree may produce small, cherry like purple fruits that blend with the foliage and are not commonly consumed.
