This little brooch, French made, is modelled as a bee, with striking eyes set with demantoid garnets, and fine detailing to the wings and "stripes" to the body. Its four legs stretch outwards from the centre, with further fine detailing giving a true realistic effect. It's modelled in 18k yellow gold, signed Chaumet and it dates from the 1970's.
