Mahonia fargesii Uruguay a truly superb selection of(aka: Mahonia sheridaniana) Mahonia fargesii is a little known Chinese mahonia that's made a splendid specimen for us since 2002. Mahonia fargesii eventually reaches 3. 5' tall with typical spiny green mahonia foliage sort of like a dwarf Mahonia bealei. The plants are topped from mid October through mid November with lovely bright yellow tassels. The flowers are subsequently replaced with bright blue fruit in February March.
