Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval disc, finished in a Wehrmacht red, white, and black tri colour motif, the black enameled band bearing a silvered inscription of MILITRVERWALTUNG FRANKREICH (MILITARY ADMINISTRATION FRANCE), overlaid by a silvered Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika,
