A very well preserved Heer Infantry officers crusher style visor cap, constructed of field grey wool with a forest green wool cap band. Bands of white piping surround both the crown of the cap, as well as the top and bottom of the cap band. Pinned into the peak is an insignia in the form of a silvered zink Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. The eagle insignia measures 60 mm (w) x 28 mm (h) and retains two of its
