The dense, monolithic palate offers dried black cherry, bitter prune, star anise, oak and roasted coffee bean alongside grainy tannins that leave an astringent, drying finish. You'll also get a green note of powdered sage. Give the tannins another few years to soften, then drink to capture the remaining fruit and freshness. Kerin
