In bronze gilt with red, white, orange and mid tone blue enamels, 47. 5 mm (w) x 48. 3 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, original ribbon with pinback, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of Military Merit was instituted on October 18, 1950. It was awarded to military personnel, for outstanding conduct during wartime or in a state of emergency, originally in four classes.
