Constructed of silvered magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Sturmabteilung (SA) style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, surrounding a central inscription of SA TREFFEN BRAUNSCHWEIG 17. 18. OKTOBER 1931, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 36 mm (w) x
