In the garden, it thrives in regular to moist garden soils, where it forms a 3' tall x 3' wide deciduous clump, adorned in June July with sparse, small yellow flowers. Oenothera riparia is host to an array of native butterflies, moths, and bees. Our offering is cutting grown from a specimen from Colleton County, SC.
