Her NW themes are exuberant, with colorful, well balanced design and a willingness to take risks. Dots early career included deck handing on SE Alaska work boats and raising her family in remote fish canneries. In Seward, where she lives now, she owned an art studio. Now retired, she has not slowed down, continuing to paint
