Victorian Carved Nut Pendant band rings It opens to reveal twoDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A bizarre and quite remarkable antique pendant carved from a nut. It dates from the late 19th Century, expertly carved to form a grotesque face, with exaggerated features, orange glass bead eyes, and wearing some sort of hood or cap. It was made some time around the 1880s, and remains in great condition presumably having been hardened with vinegar or similar. MEASUREMENTS 4. 2 x 1. 9 x 2. 0cm (height by width by depth) WEIGHT
