Germany, Wehrmacht. A Cased Wound Badge, Gold Grade Archive 1941 and from April 15(Verwundetenabzeichen). Constructed of oval shaped silvered tombac; the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre featuring a large mobile swastika on its side superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, and a functional hinge catch assembly; the reverse etched with 13a JR Aubstadt Knigshofen Grbt; measuring 36. 28 mm (w) x 43. 76 mm (h);
