A rare and well preserved cigarette case dedicated to Major von Wangenhein, an instructor of the Lehrbrigade, formed in 1929 as an instructional unit for the fledgling Chinese Army under Chiang Kai shek. Constructed of silver, the exterior features a raised and exceptionally well detailed dragon decorating both the front and back. Engraved onto the front is an inscription of NANKING, 1929, along with the names of a number
